Your mission
In this central position, you’re responsible for our global financial reporting processes and for ensuring compliance with the financial reporting framework of Sandvik Group. You train, support, and direct our divisions, and you actively work to optimize our financial reporting – always ensuring global adherence with IFRS, transfer pricing, and internal control guidelines. You’re an excellent communicator and advisor to our division finance directors and their teams working with periodic financial reporting and governance.
You’re also an important sounding board and report directly to the CFO of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions, working closely together with business controllers in our business area segment and divisions, as well as the financial control community within the Sandvik Group. By doing so, you take lead in global governance, drive relevant reporting implementations, and ensure efficient management of continuous improvements. Another important item on your agenda is the responsibility for our global financial and risk management policies.
This position is based at Gasverket in Stockholm, Sweden and some international travel might be included in your job.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with a finance degree, strong IFRS knowledge and a broad background in accounting and/or financial controlling, preferably within a global corporate environment. You have several years’ experience and you’re skilled in managing different stakeholders. Previous experiences from big 4, working with M&A’s and related accounting procedures are highly valued, as is an understanding of a recurring revenue model as a major part of our business are within Software. Furthermore, you need a strong set of IT skills and working in a global context calls for great English skills, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
Being an analytical, quality-conscious, and thorough financial partner, you easily know how to explain the meaning of numbers and figures and turn them into strategic business advantages. You’re also service-driven and ambitious, working proactively with a sense of urgency when the situation calls for it. On top of this, you’re the number one collaborator and an inspirational team player – someone who is comfortable in challenging us and making things happen equally comfortable to slow things down whenever needed.
