Financial Controller – SKF HQ

SKF has established a Finance Operation Service Center supporting all SKF units in EMEA. We have an exciting future ahead of us with a clear finance strategy roadmap. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient, and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of the next generation of Business Finance.

As Financial Controller within the Finance Function for EMEA Northern Europe at SKF HQ, you will be part of the controlling team, supporting the operating units in Northern Europe. We take an active part in driving and challenging the organization to deliver on our targets. We see deviations as an opportunity for improvement, and we support and challenge each other to remind ourselves that we will never stop developing.

What you can expect in this role
In this position, you will be responsible for controller tasks in one or several operating units in Northern Europe. Your tasks will include to:
Calculate cost rates, standard costs, standard hourly rates in service costing, and percentage of completion in projects
Be responsible for headcount reporting
Be responsible to make sure internal charge models are handled correctly and applying group allocations locally
Provide standard recurring reports in all areas and cost types
Provide input to maintain and quality assure master data
Continuously improve and evaluate reports and ways of working
Work with period-end closing



We expect you to have/be
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Extensive work experience in finance, accounting, and controlling
Data-driven and open to digital ways of working
End-to-end finance process knowledge
Knowledge of SAP
Professional communication skills with fluency in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

Some additional information
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract in SKF Sverige AB.
