Financial Controller to ASSA ABLOY Opening Solution Scandinavia

We are now offering a unique opportunity to join a growing innovative global organisation. ASSA ABLOY Opening Solution Scandinavia is the largest region in the EMEA division with annual sales of approximately SEK 5.1 billion and a total of approximately 1750 employees. 

As a Financial Controller you will be a part of a team which consists of three people that reports directly to CFO Scandinavia. You will also work closely with the eight CFOs in the entities included in Scandinavia. You will be based in Stockholm or Eskilstuna and some occasional business travels will be needed.

What you will be doing

The tasks will range from operational to strategic initiatives. You will be performing various analysis and reports as well as improving the financial processes and tools.

Financial Planning Participates in the development of financial objectives for Scandinavia that are aligned to EMEA and Scandinavian strategic objectives.

Financial and Operational Controls Ensures that there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls including that aligns with ASSAABLOY Accounting Manual and IFRS.

Reporting and analysis Support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Provides in-depth analysis on variances to plan and forecast.

Strive for profitability Support proactive development of contingency plans, productivity improvement and corrective actions to ensure facility of financial results. Provide investment analysis. Follow up key performance indicators (KPI).

Cross-functional team contribution Works across organization boundaries in Scandinavia to achieve results in line with Scandinavian and EMEA objectives.

What we are looking for

We believe that you are an independent and confident person who will through great commitment and structure drive your work forward efficiently and with high quality. To succeed in this role it is important that you have your own drive and good cooperative ability. As a person you are pro-active, service minded and solution-oriented.

Bachelor’s or Master degree in finance, accounting or similar relevant discipline requiredMinimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Controlling and/or Senior AccountingExcellent knowledge in monitoring accounting closing (monthly, yearly) procedures and related reporting dutiesGood understanding of business and financial analysis and profit follow-upAbility to handle and interpret large quantities of data in Excel.Experience from development and improvement work of processes and routines as well as of the group's common master dataExperience of integrated ERP systems, BI solutionsPrevious experience in MS AX, HFM and MSBI will be considered meritorious or relevant experience from similar system, as well as experience from a global international company
