As the financial controller this role will work with the Company’s financial & management accounting, reporting and control activities and ensuring they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with regulation, company standards and best practice. Working with coordination between the Swedish Company and Shared Service Center in UK regarding financial and accounting, reporting and control activities.
Dina arbetsuppgifter i huvudsak
- Partner together with the Swedish Finance Manager to provide financial leadership (analytical as well as decision support) by managing the legal accounting books for all the Swedish legal entities.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the monthly closing activities for all divisions/functions and legal entities within Sweden.
- Point of contact towards Shared Service Centre in Witney, UK for any types of activities.
- Preparing, together with the Swedish Finance Manager, the statutory accounts for the Swedish entities.
- Point of contact for all internal as well as external audits and provide all required information. Lead projects to implement findings from the Internal Audits.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and harmonization within Sweden to ensure that internal and external reporting requirements are met.
- Responsible, together with the Swedish Finance Manager, for preparing the annual budget, forecast reports, flash reports and other business objectives as required for all business in the legal entity.Contribute to the strategy of the business and provide financial analysis to monitor and improve business performance to authorities and other stakeholders.
- Participate in management and other meetings as required within the role
Vem är du?
The best candidate has a financial degree or equivalent and several years post-qualification experience as Financial Controller or equivalent. Preferable is experience in a multinational reporting environment as well as knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting. We are also looking for a candidate who:
