Financial Controller to Pharmetheus in Uppsala

Job description

Pharmetheus keeps moving forward and we are now looking for a Financial Controller. This is a new role within the company and you will work closely with Pharmetheus’ CFO. Responsibilities
The controller supports the CFO with financial work and contributes to the planning, monitoring and follow-up of the business. You support the CFO in month-end and year-end closing activities and have a close collaboration with the accounting functions for Pharmetheus’ subsidiaries. This role supports the organization with project financials, investment calculations and keeps track of work in progress and invoicing to clients. You contribute to the maintenance and development of processes, routines and system support within Finance. 

Main duties and responsibilities:
Participate in the financial monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities and reporting, including follow-up and development of KPI:s
Participate in budget and forecast work - planning and monitoring
Financial analysis of business performance
Project follow-up and reporting
Perform investment calculations and financial analysis regarding investments
Collaborate with the external accounting firms of Pharmetheus’ subsidiaries and branches 
Develop and implement processes, routines and systems


The Financial controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The finance department today includes the CFO and two administrative assistants and we work closely with our external accounting firms. 

Qualifications
You have a bachelor or master degree in Finance or Business Administration and a proven experience working with similar tasks. You have a minimum of 3 years’ overall experience in finance, controlling or accounting positions. If you recognize yourself in the following sentences, then you are a good fit:

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, have a good understanding of financial principles and have excellent Excel skills. You have an interest in financial systems management and digitalization. Preferably you have experience working in Fortnox and Microsoft Power BI.
