WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our Finance team is looking for its next stellar Financial Controller/Accountant. Given our fast-paced growth, our global ambitions, and our disruptive technology, this role will require ability to take initiative and work independently. To thrive at Exeger you are flexibel with a hands-on and prestigeless approach.
We are always looking for the person to join us, but to succeed in this role we see that you have:


• BSc Economics, Accounting or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from SME or as a consultant
• Experience and knowledge of IFRS and K3
• Experience from annual reporting
• Fluency in Swedish & English, both written and spoken is a must.
• Experience of implementing processes and internal controls is beneficial.
• Having worked with forecasts is also beneficial.
• Knowledge and experience of Monitor is meritorious.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Financial department is responsible for making financial plans and investigations and creating control and control systems to monitor the business. The work includes collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, hence compiling the economic results and assessing profitability by analyzing costs and revenues. The Finance department is also responsible to make sure that the salaries are reported and paid correctly.
You will more specifically work with:


• Monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Prepare journal entries during the month and month end close
• VAT and tax filings
• Prepare and perform account reconciliations
• Develop, document and monitor internal controls
• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare tax returns, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned
• Assist with financial and tax audits
