Group Assurance works on behalf of the Board of Directors and Executive Management providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the Groups' framework and processes regarding corporate governance, internal control and risk management.Group Assurance is an active link between the many different areas of the business, shareholders and management. As a Financial Auditor you will mainly be responsible for financial audits and conducting business support and thus be a key resource within finance at Sandvik.You will be joining a highly motivated team working across all the Business Areas in a global perspective and thus meet and deal with a great variety of cultures and backgrounds.Through your work and contacts you will play a real part in continuing the growth and standing of the Sandvik Group in today's international business world.The position provides an outstanding development opportunity for the successful candidate to progress into strategic senior roles within Sandvik Finance and/or General Management positions.Key performance areas In the role as Financial Internal Auditor/Advisor your main tasks are: - Plan, execute and follow up audits of units and processes within the Sandvik Group.- Report significant observations and recommend improvements.- Provide general support in order to further develop and improve processes at both operational and strategic level.- Play an active role in initiating and developing Group Assurance's role and way of working.Your profile The ideal candidate possesses: - Degree with a minimum of five years' relevant work experience in an international environment.- Extensive knowledge in the fields of general governance, financial reporting/accounting and control procedures.- Good business and process orientation.- Excellent command of written and spoken English and good knowledge of other languages, e.g.Spanish. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.You have the ability to take the initiative, make an impact and so establish good relationships and gain trust in a variety of cultures.- A structured, systematic and analytical approach, with focus on continuous improvements.- Willingness to travel extensively. The Group had at the end of 2007 about 47,000 employees and representation in 130 countries, with annual sales of more than SEK 86,000 M.
