Lindgens is an independent group of companies, ranking among the leaders in the field of Metal Decorating.Lindgens manufacture and market complete system solutions of coatings and inks for the metal packaging industry.Lindgens Metal Decorating Coatings & Inks was established in 2005 through the management takeover of the Metal decorating businesses of Flint Ink Corporation and XSYS Print Solutions Lindgens in Langenfeld, Germany.The headquarters in Helsingborg, Sweden, is also the main plant for basic production.We are now looking for a Financial Manager Work and responsibilities Monthly reporting: - Drive the preparation of monthly company management accounts.- Ensure the accuracy of the accounts.Develop the capabilities of the finance function: - Create procedures and controls to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the finance function and also assist in the development and progression of staff.- Review of current reporting requirements and implementing improvements where necessary.- Ensure integrity of systems report and that IT processes are supporting finance function.Managing audit activities: - Arrange & direct external audits.- Ongoing review of company cash flow, balance sheet and consolidated group management accounts ensuring effective reporting, forecasting and analysis to the Board and Executive. Managing the relationship with our banking partner and syndicate banks: - Ensuring the provision of quality data and robust analysis.- Corporate finance recommendations to ensure that funding, hedging, loans and structures are in place to meet the business growth requirements. Qualifications - Degree and professional qualification (preferably accounting related), and/or relevant consulting, finance management or business expertise.- Approx.4-5 years experience of qualified financial work.- A degree of experience through a merger or acquisition process and all that this means.A degree of experience on consolidation will be a plus. You have knowledge of: - Reconciliation and finance investigations.- Balance Sheet validation work.- Improvement of weak control frameworks.- Knowledge of the Software Movex and Qlickview is an advantage.Personal skills - Strong team player with good organisation, planning and leadership skills.- Excellent interpersonal skills, including English oral/written communication & influencing skills.Knowledge in German will be a plus. - A proven track record in effectively managing and developing a team on a daily and project basis.- A flexible, proactive approach to work with a high degree of self motivation. Aptitude for development of the following skills would also be essential: - Engagement/project management.- Leadership skills.- Relationship.
