Do you want to be part of ensuring the accuracy of Sandvik's Group Reporting System's financial closing processes and provide support and problem solving for Sandvik's various business and production units?

The Process and Systems Development department is a part of Sandvik Group Finance Control, managing accounting, financial reporting and internal control. The department is responsible for supplying process and information owners with methods and guidance for an efficient process.

The position will be based in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As a Financial Process Developer you will participate in the development of Sandvik's Group Reporting System and future direction within Group Finance. The position involves working with the existing team to ensure the accuracy in reporting processes and taking part in, and coordinating, diverse projects of a financial character. You will work in close cooperation with other group finance departments and business areas' representatives. You will be actively involved in developing a future strategy for Sandvik's financial reporting and group consolidation processes, as well as providing support and problem solving for all of Sandvik's business units and users worldwide.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning and preparing the Group Reporting System for upcoming monthly/quarterly reporting
- Managing and supporting production of reports and analysis needs for the business control network
- Providing end-user support and guidance to business units and users
- Managing Group Reporting change requests and users
- Facilitating process modeling
- Project management
- Quality assurance of processes and information
- Training

The position may involve some travel.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance or IT and several years' experience in the financial area. You have expert knowledge in areas such as SAP Finance, Business Intelligence, Disclosure Management, Process Development, in addition to experience in processes. Experience from customer-focused international environments and leading projects is advantageous. The position requires fluency in English, both written and verbal.

As an individual you are positive, systematic and thorough, with pedagogical abilities, and have the ability to work at a highly demanding tempo. You must also be a problem solver and accustomed to taking the initiative.
