Financial Reporting Project Manager

The Financial Reporting Project Manager is a new position within the Reporting Team at Olink. We are looking for a team member who can support us in developing our finance department, to meet the high and increasing requirements with being listed on NASDAQ US and being a rapidly growing organization.

The role requires a high ability to independently detecting and driving development initiatives for the finance department. The tasks will include long-term projects, ad hoc projects and managing tasks related to regulatory compliance within the accounting and tax area.

The Financial Reporting Project Manager reports to the Head of Reporting and the Reporting team currently consists of 6 members. The Reporting team is responsible for the group consolidation and financial reporting process, including the reporting to NASDAQ. The team is also responsible for coordinating the finance processes in our foreign subsidiaries, for which the accounting is outsourced to external service providers. The role is located in Uppsala, with the possibility of working remotely part of time.

Primary Responsibilities

- Coordinate/drive development initiatives such as regulatory compliance implementation (e.g. US GAAP conversion and SOX compliance), system implementations and process improvements.
- Coordinate M&A activities from a financial perspective.
- Ensure financial manual (GAAP) compliance and tax compliance.
- Develop Olink’s financial structure and financial internal control structure (SOX compliance).

Qualifications/Skills

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Highly developed skills in detecting and outlining strategical improvements areas.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in consolidation of financial statements as well as in statutory and tax reporting.
- Developed skills in accounting and reporting standards, good knowledge within IFRS is a requirement, US GAAP is beneficial. Previous experience from working with revenue recognition compliance is beneficial.
- Developed skills in financial internal control, although not a requirement with experience from SOX compliance.
- Strong written and verbal skills in Swedish and English.
