The Team
The Risk control function supports the business operations with independent supervision and advice and is following up on risk to which the business is exposed or could perceivably become exposed to. It is a second line function and therefore responsible for ensuring that Entercard has a sound risk framework containing strategies, processes, procedures, internal rules, limits, controls, and reporting procedures. Together we support Entercard to identify, measure, govern, internally report and exercise control of risks.
Now we're looking for a Financial Risk Specialist to join the team.
What you'll be doing
Support in developing the risk management framework
Support in the preparation of regular risk reporting to senior management and the board
Support in developing the framework and methodologies for stress testing
Support model validation of mainly credit risk models
Perform independent internal monitoring of 1st line of defence.



To succeed in this role, you need to:
Have a university degree in relevant field, e.g. Finance, Economics or Engineering.
Preferably have a few years of relevant experience of risk control/risk management in a bank or financial institution under supervision from the FSA, or as a consultant.
Have some knowledge of methodologies and models for measuring credit, market and liquidity risk.
Be curious and eager to learn and have a structured way of working.
Have strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, be proactive, have a flexible mindset, and be proud to call yourself a team player.
Have strong skills in excel, including VBA, as well as experience of programming in in SAS, SQL, python or similar.
Have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
