Financial Services Manager

Sandvik Materials Technology is looking for Financial Services Manager Description Sandvik Materials Technology Sales Area EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) is establishing a central unit in Kista, Stockholm to handle invoicing and associated financial administration (general ledger, management reporting, credit control, accounts payable and accounts receivable) and certain sales administrative work processes.The unit will provide the financial and administrative support for 11 sales units in Europe and comprise of a team of 15-20 people within 2 years time.We are now looking to appoint an Operations Manager for the new unit, reporting to the Sales Area Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Key performance areas A key player in the implementation of the new way of working, who will, together with the project team, take an active part in: .designing, recruiting and training the team..communicating with internal customers and other key stakeholders..planning for a secure, smooth transfer of work tasks and the introduction of the new, harmonized finance and sales processes..defining the service management (service level agreements, KPIs etc).Once the unit is operational, the roll-out to the remaining sales units will continue.Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the unit delivers high quality work and operates in an efficient and service-minded manner. Key areas will be: .leading and managing the team and its daily operations..working with continuous improvements..securing compliance with law and regulations..responsibility for the financial accounting of the new unit. Your profile .University Degree in Accounting or Finance..Minimum 5 years in a comparable function, preferably in an international organization..Experience of change projects (implementing processes, systems etc)..An interest in IT, with knowledge of ERP and order/invoicing systems..Fluent in Swedish and English: knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.Characteristics: .An excellent communicator, able to deal confidently with people at all levels, and with good presentation skills..Self-motivated, solution-orientated and a confident decision maker, open to input from others..A natural leader, able to build productive working relationships with customers and generating team spirit within the local organization.
