To be successful in this role, we believe you are/have:
• Excellent knowledge of digital development and IT within the financial and payment industry
• Broad knowledge of the financial industry – credit risk, compliance, schemes, acquirers, issuing banks, global payment infrastructure
• Expert on project and portfolio management and operations development techniques
• Extensive knowledge of business and digital planning drivers that drive value at IKEA
Above all those, you bring excellent organisational and planning skills with ability to understand and manage stakeholders needs and expectations. You have very good communication and negotiation skills with an ability to influence. You have the ability to lead under pressure with a proactive and optimistic attitude, anticipate challenges and solve the unforeseen in a simple and pragmatic way with a willingness to be hands on. You are also capable to understand and communicate the impact that operations have on the tactical and strategic plans. You demonstrate honesty and transparency towards IKEA customers, retail countries and in general towards all our partners inside and outside of IKEA.
We see that you have a degree on Business Administration and Finance or similar with a minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering successful growth in implementation of products and services within the financial industry (banks, payment networks, fintech, etc) in very close collaboration with digital function. You demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in planning and managing an implementation roadmap portfolio across a global and cross-functional organization, as well as in influencing to senior leadership level, leading cross functional teams and creating strong, trustful, and engaging relationship. Experience of complex implementations within ecosystems, merchants and fintech and/or neobanks would be an advantage!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Financial Services Operations Manager you will be responsible to accelerate and optimize the operations implementation and maintenance of financial services concepts and services for different customer segments to democratise Financial Services for a more affordable and convenient life at home and work of the many.
You will:
• Be responsible for the Financial Services implementation roadmap of scalable financial services and concepts in order to minimize the time to market of new services and accelerate the growth potential of the deployments
• Be responsible for the operations and maintenance of existing financial services in order to maximize the full growth potential of the services implemented
• Be member of the New Retail Business in Financial Services Management Team
• Lead, communicate and manage (together with key functions) the implementation roadmap according to commercial targets, business plans and digital needs, Retail country and regulatory requirements, etc. in order to secure
• Lead together with Ggroup dDigital, the Fiscal Year (FY) and Tertial (T) planning
• Be responsible of securing that the financial services agreed with Financial Services Business Development and countries are deployed and maintained according to how it was designed (e.g. design principles) and defined (e.g. timelines, business case)
• Communicate and present at internal and external events and forums representing and reinforcing the Ingka positioning within financial services.
• Network and create strong relationships across IKEA as well as with 3rd parties and industry players.
• Keep track of emerging trends, technologies, regulations, and industry practices to identify how these can be deployed to competitive advantage.
• Lead and develop a highly motivated and performing team of Ingka leaders and external consultants

Part of the New Retail Business unit, we are creating a new Financial Services organization, led by the New Retail Business Manager in Financial Services to deliver upon this ambition.
You will lead a team of Financial Services Operations Leaders and you will report to the New Retail Business Manager in Financial Services.
This role is located in Malmö, although there is an opportunity to consider other locations (Leiden, Bangalore) for the right candidate.
