To be successful in this role, we believe you are/have:
• Expert of the Financial Services industry – schemes, acquirers, issuing banks, customer offerings, payment infrastructure, credit risk, compliance, etc
• Extensive knowledge on revenue models across partnerships and ecosystems
• Extensive digital and marketing understanding
• Broad knowledge of regulation changes and possible impact on INGKA model
Above all those, you bring excellent leadership skills with ability to lead change in the unknown. You have very good negotiations skills and the ability build strong relationships and trust with partners and countries. You have very good communication and presentation skills and are able to influence people and organisations, including senior leadership. You are result oriented, possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate and communicate customer and partner needs across the organization. You have the ability to lead under pressure with a proactive and optimistic attitude, anticipate challenges and solve the unforeseen in a simple and pragmatic way with a willingness to be hands on. You demonstrate honesty and transparency towards IKEA customers, retail countries and in general towards all our partners inside and outside of IKEA.
We see that you have a degree on Business Administration and Finance or similar, and you bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, account management or relationship management within the Financial Industry, delivering growth in global and complex organisations as well as developing partnerships, successfully co-creating with digital function, business development and/or innovation functions.
You have a minimum of 10 years of proven experience, defining business plans and influencing on senior leadership level as well as leading teams, creating a strong network and nurturing 3rd party relationships. Experience of developing business and relationship within ecosystems and merchants would be an advantage!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Financial Services Relationship Manager you will be responsible to maximize the commercial growth and develop strong strategic relationships with third partnerships and retail countries to democratize financial services for a more affordable and convenient life at home of the many people and companies.
You will:
• Be responsible for maximizing the commercial growth of financial services according to defined targets and KPIs
• Be member of the New Retail Business – Financial Services Management Team
• Be responsible for the overall relationship with our 3rd parties with specific responsibility on the development of our strategic relationships for financial services together with relevant stakeholders across Ingka, by looking for new common opportunities to develop (e.g. new geographical areas, new business lines, co-creation opportunities, etc)
• Lead the strategic and tactical planning on financial services commercial agenda (e.g. targets, new business opportunities, implementations) including anchoring in Business Plans and roadmaps, together with the Retail countries
• Be the global financial services point of contact for financial services partnerships, in collaboration with managers in the country and other key Group Functions
• Support Retail countries in commercial and contractual negotiations when tendering, renewing contracts, committing to new initiatives and investments, etc
• Create together with the Financial Services Business Design Leader ways to improve ongoing financial services in the markets to increase profitability and growth
• Engage with and secure engagement from Financial Services Operations manager, Financial Services Development Manager and different functions across Ingka to ensure delivery of solutions and services according to plan as well as improvement and creation of new financial services
• Network and create strong relationships with 3rd parties and industry players, including communication and presentation at internal and external events and forums representing and reinforcing the Ingka positioning within financial services.
• Stay up to date with market practice, competition, trends, new players, regulation and others that might have an impact on this fast moving industry,
• Benchmark IKEA financial services to other competitors in a local and global perspective and documenting best practices across Retail countries
• Lead and develop a highly motivated and performing team of Ingka leaders and external consultants

Part of the New Retail Business unit, we are creating a new Financial Services organization, led by the New Retail Business Manager in Financial Services to deliver upon this ambition.
You will lead a team and you will report to the New Retail Business Manager in Financial Services.
This role is located in Malmö, although there is an opportunity to consider other locations (Leiden, Bangalore) for the right candidate.
