Financial/business controller to Maersk Sverige

Maersk is one of the leading shipping companies in the world with offices in more 120 countries.Maersk Sverige AB is now looking to employ a Controller in the Scandinavian Controlling team.The controlling section currently covers 4 legal entities within Sweden, Denmark and Norway.The position is based in Gothenburg / Sweden which is the Scandinavian head office for Maersk Line.It is a relatively new department which covers both financial controlling as well as business controlling.With the coverage of both financial- and business controlling the position offers a very good insight in the company.As a controller you interact with several different departments and staff on all levels in the company.Main Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities as a controller are to prepare relevant Management Information and Financial Reporting as well as Business Reporting.Tasks also include analyzing Country Result, following up on financial developments and preparing input to monthly reports, budgets, board meetings etc.You ensure that financial accounts are maintained in accordance with legal as well as Group internal requirements.The controlling team are also preparing, organizing and if possible improve all SAP related monthly book closing procedures and make sure that cost control is done in a proper way throughout the organization.You prepare investment proposals and make suggestions for improvement in all aspects of the business.You should also support country managers with information and analyzes. Preferred knowledge and skills: . Finance and accounting experience . Degree in Financial Accounting or similar . Strong analytical and problem solving skills .Ability to work at a high level of accuracy .Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing .
