Job Summary
Do you want to bring your skills within technology development to the next level?
Development & Technology Industrial Base Engineering (D&T IBE) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
The Material Treatment & Finishing department within IBE is responsible for Process, Equipment and Competence of our converting process. We deliver results in the forefront of development within the area of expertise.
To sharpen us even more we are now looking for a skilled Development engineer.
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travels are required, mainly in Europe.
What you will do
As our new colleague and development engineer you will be part of an experienced and agile team and you will focus on:
Development and Lifecycle management of Finishing solutions
Represent the area in different forums externally and internally
Collaboration with converting factories and suppliers
Writing and follow up on development reports
Investigations, test planning, execution, and analysis of results

We believe you have
To be successful in this position, we do require that you have experience from working in the area of mechanical design and a Master’s degree in Engineering. Experience from automated production and testing is seen as an advantage. It’s also an advantage if you have experience from working with slitting, sealing or finishing equipment or similar process knowledge.
As a person you have a strong drive for results, are passionate about your work and take ownership of your activities. Since the position involves much collaboration with a lot of different stakeholders, you need to be flexible with a strong ability to adjust. To communicate with people on all levels, within and outside the organization, comes natural to you, and you can work both independently and in groups and different projects. Analytical reasoning, a structured and flexible way of working is important. Experience from working in a scrum team is seen as a merit.
A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
