The Center of Expertise function (CoE) within Volvo Group Real Estate consists of a highly engaged group of experts in various real estate-related areas, including sustainability, fire prevention, project management, health and safety, facility management, technical installations, and workplace experience. The CoE function has a global responsibility for identifying and realizing synergies for the Volvo Group's properties. We work closely with property and workplace managers worldwide, as well as other stakeholders within the Volvo Group. With a focus on innovation, we stay up to date with the latest developments in our field and within Volvo.  

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a passion for risk management and fire prevention to join our global Risk, Environment, Safety and Health (RESH) team within CoE. In this role, you will support stakeholders in their risk management process and continuity planning to ensure alignment within our global organization. 
You will work closely with the operations responsible for development of new techniques and innovation, playing a central role in supporting Volvo Group's journey towards achieving fossil-free operations. 
As a key player, you will facilitate global knowledge transfer, training, and fostering collaboration and shared best practices within Volvo Group Real Estate. Your responsibilities will include delivering updates on standards, concepts, and processes.  
You will additionally provide guidance and support to colleagues in divisions on long-term maintenance and construction projects worldwide, ensuring compliance with fire regulations and loss prevention standards

With your extensive experience in Risk management and Fire Prevention, you are positioned to make a substantial impact in our organization.

Qualifications: 
* A minimum of 5-10 years' relevant work experience, preferably within risk management and fire prevention.  
* Academic degree within the field of Fire Engineering or Risk Management.  
* Proficiency in both spoken and written English. 
* Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities. 
* Ability to review technical fire protection documentation and ensure compliance with set targets. 
* Knowledge of relevant standards, concepts, processes, tools, and services in risk management and fire prevention.
