What we are looking for
Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Program Manager & RTE - Fire Systems, Digital Buildings in our office in Lund.
Responsibilities
• As Program Mgr: Own your program roadmap delivery & scope, as well as the coordinated objectives and dependencies in close partnership with Product leader and R&D leader
• As a SAFe RTE: Coordinating/facilitating the release train and value delivery in collaboration with other leaders of the train (PI sync, PI planning, backlog refinement, drive focus on dependency board, limit WIP and optimize flow
• Motivate and challenge teams to deliver according to plan.
• Be a leader of leaders with business and system thinking mindset
• Manage and be accountable for the projects/epics in your program in terms of scope delivery, time/schedule, cash out, quality
• Focus on managing critical path and risks, not mainly on tasks tracking
• Ensure business decision-making throughout the team & process.
• Regularly publishing information to ensure visibility, transparency and escalation
• Ensure capacity management in sync with resource mgrs
• Ensure proper preparations for business cases and future projects
• Drive culture of continuous improvement (in SAFe/Agile environment)
• Put customer and quality at the center of the program / value stream
Required skills and experiences
• >10 years of project & program management in software and hardware environment
• >5 years of technical experience as a SW engineer/developer
• Strong people skills, also in communication, risk assessment, change management, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence and convince
• Experience launching a product to a global market
• Understanding of offer strategy and ability to identify solutions
• Experience working with multi-site & remote teams
• Experience working with external agencies/contracts to complete work streams
• Strong communication skills in writing and verbal
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs
Desirable knowledge in
• SAFe certification (SPC, LPM, SM or other)
• PMP or other certification
• Building management knowledge (BMS) and Fire Systems
