What you would do as our Firmware Developer
As a Firmware Developer, you'll be integral to our team creating a next-gen wireless network for our connected access systems. You will develop and maintain the online platform, craft new applications, and support colleagues. From embedded Firmware to documentation, you'll lead with agility in a collaborative setting, contributing to our dynamic work environment and your personal growth within ASSA ABLOY and Global Solutions. You would also:
Develop new features and maintain a new online network.
Perform unit/function and release tests, preparing comprehensive test reports.
Document APIs, state charts, and flow charts to ensure effective application maintenance.
Participate in agile processes and enhance our Secure Firmware Development Lifecycle process.
Provide support to other stakeholders and teams in application development and usage.
Support integrators in the implementation of our new network products.



The qualifications and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
Proficiency in Embedded C development and debugging skills
Experience with Free RTOS and Bare Metal
Familiarity with Git version control
Knowledge of network standards such as Zigbee, Thread, or Lumen (Meriting knowledge)
Proficiency in Python and Gitlab CI (Meriting knowledge)
Experience with I2C, UART, and participation in alpha and beta installations at customer sites, as well as cooperation with internal embedded developer teams (Meriting knowledge).
