Firmware engineer to a MedTech company

THE POSITION:

As a Firmware Engineer, you will be part of great team within the Technology department, that develops our client's products. You will be involved in the whole product lifecycle from design, implementation, and production to commercial deployment and maintenance. The role has a big variety of daily tasks and responsibilities on a day-to-day base.

Main responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain firmware for embedded systems.Source code, programming files for production, test programs, user’s manual and HW testingCollaborate with System Engineers (System/Electronics) to ensure firmware compatibility.Be a part of product development projectsManage relationship with suppliers and other departmentsReport status on weekly meetings including risks and scheduleAdhere to and improve our ways of working including tools and processes

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You have an university degree, preferably in computer science, electrical engineering, or other related fields.Solid programming experienceKnowledge in ElectronicsRelevant hobby projects (preferably in Linux)Fluent in English

We see it as beneficial if you have at least 1-3 years of experience working with the development of embedded systems, digital signal processing, electric measurement techniques, and customer demands. Knowledge in electronics design, or experience from the Medical device industry is to prefer. We need an excellent problem-solver who takes ownership of areas of improvement. We believe you like to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a focus on delivering high-quality products. You are a communicative team player driven by the interaction of team members as well as stakeholders and you have high integrity with the ability to build relationships with people on all levels of the organization.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment will result in a permanent position at our client after a duration of 6-12 months.
