Project Description and Work Tasks:
First-line Functional Support Specialist within Fixed Income Trading The team consists of skilled and dedicated people who will focus on the Fixed Income business within SEB.
SEB is now looking for a first-line Functional Support specialist who aspires to play a key part in our transformation and will be committed to develop a Fixed Income business for SEB and shape the future of the Fixed Income Trading Team.
The Fixed Income market is one of the world´s largest markets. SEB has a high ambition not only in the Nordic region but also in the global market. The Fixed Income market is undergoing rapid digitalization and to adapt to all market changes, SEB has taken
aproactive approach of building a skilful Fixed Income tribe.
You will be working with the Fixed Income e-trading systems like nexRates, Bloomberg, and Prime.
Some of the responsibilities entail:
• Support the business stakeholders on the site
• Close collaboration with other IT teams, vendors, operations, regulatory units, and other teams within SEB
• Installing and tuning systems
• Extracting information through database queries
• Monitoring
• Resolving incidents and troubleshooting integrations
• Continuous set-up improvement
• Technical Competences and Personal characteristics
• To succeed in your role, you should possess a strong analytic ability and understand the end-to-end value flow of the Fixed Income products and involved IT systems.
• You are a service-minded team player, eager to learn new things and be able to take on multiple tasks.
• You have a customer-focused attitude, success-driven, structured, careful, self-going, and positive, therefore we expect you to have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, great attention to detail, and taking ownership comes naturally to you.
• You are familiar with the agile way of working.
• Experience of working with Fixed Income and Trading will be an advantage.
• We expect you to have the ability to work in a diverse team and find common ground within different cultures.
Language skills
You must have excellent communication skills in English.
