Cybersecurity & Operations is a section of two groups at Scania Research & Development. We are contributing to the operation and monitoring of the Scania vehicles.
We are now looking for a first-line manager who wants to help us further develop our section, and the management team and build a great Security Incident Response Team. We offer a dynamic work environment with lots of opportunities to influence the future.
Assignment
You will be responsible for a group consisting of our cross-functional roles PM with a strong focus on cybersecurity and incidence response capability. The group´s mission is to monitor and respond to security incidents.
You will have a mix of tasks in terms of product guidance, technology development, competence development, building efficient and healthy teams, coaching employees, improvement work and recruitment. You also support your teams in their collaboration with other teams and stakeholders inside and outside of Scania. You will work closely with the other managers within Cybersecurity & Operations and contribute to the management teamwork such as strategic planning and organisational development. The management team is accountable for the section’s deliveries.
Your profile
You have strong management and leadership skills. You have a lot of enthusiasm as well as the ability to see people’s capabilities and to trust others. To succeed in this position you need to be strong in building teams, be communicative, show grit and be energized by challenges. You have an interest in, and preferably also some experience in cybersecurity and incidence response.
We are looking for a team player with a can-do mentality combined with strong integrity and a structured way of working. To fit the expectations of the role we think you are:
• highly motivated by the mission described above
• experienced in developing teams and systems in complex environments
• consciously looking for improvements and can make decisions under pressure
• able to lead change while your organization feel safe and stays focused
• experienced and interested in IT system development
You have a graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have at least 7+ years of professional experience within IT, experience as a first-line manager is a merit and good command of English is required. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
