Have you got a background from the food industry? Would you like to work in an international and entrepreneurial environment, being responsible for developing and managing exciting customer projects within flavours? If the answer is yes, we have got a great opportunity to join IMCD as their next Flavour Account Manager.

YOU WILL

The Flavour Account Manager will be responsible for finding flavour projects, drive these successfully forward and to deliver exciting solutions to the customer. The flavour team play an important part in IMCDs Food & Nutritional segment and you will be a key member of the local Nordic team, as well as the international flavour team of 25 colleagues. You will be a designated specialist and responsible for finding and managing projects in both the Danish and Swedish market. The position can be based from home with frequent business travel or based from the Nordic head office in Malmö.

Other responsibilities:

- Work closely and build strong relationships with internal key players such as Applications Technologists, Product Managers and Technical Sales Managers, as well as the external producer of flavours and their representatives
- Present IMCD flavour capabilities, trend analysis & end applications with the aim of capturing flavour briefs
- Answer briefs and prepare proactive presentations
- Continuously develop the pipeline of projects, manage these and developing excellent customer relationships
- Formulate the flavour strategy for the market segment

YOU ARE

We are ideally looking for someone that has experience of managing food and nutrition accounts. We think that you are motivated by the challenge of business development and project management in a commercial context. The is a role for someone that like to be creative, proactive and to keep a high activity level.

Profile requirements:

- Degree in relevant scientific discipline or the equivalence of working experience
- A dynamic self-starter with excellent communication skills
- A technical background and commercial/sales experience
- Ability to interface effectively with both commercial and technical contacts from a range of companies
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to priorities accordingly
- Be a team player with friendly manners
