Fleet Maintenance Planner

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the maintenance is planned in an airworthy, safe and economical condition for SAS's fleet, under restriction of the requirements imposed through regulations European Aviation according EASA Part-M, Part 145 and EU Operations. 

Our team of Line Maintenance Planners ensure that the SAS Fleet planning of short term maintenance and defect rectification is planned, prepared and performed in compliance with the approved AMP, TCH and NAA requirements. Apart from this, our Planners secure that the required tasks are performed on time, minimising interruptions on the traffic program is done as well as doing this in the most cost-efficient way. As our fleet is expanding with brand new state-of-the art aircraft we are looking for a Line Maintenance Planner to join our friendly and highly competent team based at the SAS Head office in Stockholm.

Main Tasks

* Plan, control and manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance (up to C-Check) requirements at internal and external line stations. This includes performing post production duties, securing aircraft stop and ensuring that tools, materials and resources/skills are met.
* Act as an interface between SAS Part-M and internal and external Part-145 organisations, participating in daily production planning handover meetings with all the bases.
* You will secure that your work will be performed in accordance with AMPD, taking into account ETOPS, Critical Task and CDCCL requirements.
* You will have continuous dialogue with operations and production to prioritise work and re-plan changes in case of rescheduling with optimization in mind.
* Plan accomplishment of Airworthiness Directives.
* Report and follow up on performed as well as non-performed work (using AMOS)
* Handle MEL and Defect Deferments.
* Follow up on agreed production and adjust the plan iaw traffic changes.


Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in aviation studies or relevant background from the aviation industry is preferred. Similar experience from logistics, automotive or related fields will also be considered.  
* Excellent communication skills in English


Meritorious experience

* Understanding of different planning processes.
* Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance concepts.
* Experience within EASA Part M, EASA Part 145 regulations.
* Experience within one or more of the aircraft operated by SAS.
* Practical experience of working with MMIS systems, preferably AMOS.
