Devport is now looking for a Fleet Performance Specialist to our client for a long term consultant assignment.

Do you want help to promote a healthy planet for future generations? We are now looking for a Fleet Performance Specialist who will strengthen the Vessel Optimization team.
Main responsibilities
The Fleet Performance Specialist will work closely with existing customers to the company to make sure that vessels utilizing the company’s products reach optimum efficiency and customer value. As most of the world’s ship owners and operators are putting increasing focus on their vessels’ performance and environmental impact, we want to strengthen our team with a skilled member who will help our customers to reach operational excellence through our products and services. Main responsibilities:
• Vessel performance analysis:
• - E.g. following up on fuel consumption, emissions and FuelOpt utilization
• Working with the customer to establish and improve operational routines related to the company's products
• Customer training on the company’s vessel optimization products
• Follow-up on product health & customer success
• Creating and reporting on opportunities for additional sales to the sales team
• Assess the customers’ needs and formulate potential product development ideas
• Keeping up to date with regulations affecting our customers’ operational situation
• Close cooperation with sales, development and service departments
• The position will require travelling to some extent
Background and skills
• Bachelor’s degree within technical field is an advantage (preferably marine focused)
• Previous experience in working with or alongside shipowners/operators
• Good analytical skills and like digging into data in pursuit of knowledge
• Previous experience with customer relations
• Experience working with vessel performance management systems is an advantage
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written

As a person, you are a structured, self-driven and analytical and enjoys communicating around both simple and complex matters. You will be working closely with most other departments of the Vessel Optimization team, so a strong collaborative approach is required. Additionally, you will have close dialogue with customers and therefore we also see that customer satisfaction motivates you.
