The Global Integrated Business Planning organization (prev. Demand to Cash Management) is a part of Sales & Marketing at Scania, and is responsible for Scania’s Integrated Business Planning process as well as the core process Order to Delivery (O2D). Our mission is to increase total efficiency and profitability by providing an integrated decision-making process that the executive management can use to steer towards our strategic goals. The aim is to make a positive impact on Scania’s financial result through cross functional collaboration with both the Commercial and Industrial systems. We are in an ongoing transformation full of opportunities, where we strive to add the holistic perspective in everything we do. We are therefore reinforcing our team with new Flow Performance Managers.

In this role you are the keeper of the flow perspective both internally at Global Integrated Business Planning and for Scania at large. You analyze and continuously challenge the performance of the entire process from the occurrence of need at the customer until that need is fulfilled. In order to understand the flow performance, end-to-end, we are setting up a control tower for the O2D flow where e.g. stock management, lead times and precisions are monitored, analyzed and addressed. Your analysis and findings are important input to Top Management in forums such as Executive Planning Meeting and Weekly Pulse Meeting as well as to other stakeholder meetings and projects.  

As a Flow Performance Manager, an important way of driving process improvements will be in the development and implementation of Business Intelligence tools and methods, where you will work In close cooperation with IT and other expert functions. Your role will be to ensure that the right target users within the O2D flow are reached, always keeping the end-to-end performance in mind. You will be a change agent in the sense that you will explain, anchor and get people on board on the changes needed.

Your profile

As a person you are curious and have a genuine interest in understanding the business from a holistic perspective. One of your strong abilities is to quickly take in and analyze large amounts of information, find patterns and draw conclusions from that. You have strong ability to plan, structure, run and follow up the needed activities. You are accurate and use a critical mindset to question findings and new information.  You are innovative and open for new ways of working, have an interest in understanding new techniques, such as advanced analytics, and have the ability to transform that into value for our operations.

To explain and communicate complex matters in an easy and understandable way is key to success and you are a good communicator and contributor to a learning organization. You enjoy working together in a team and have a positive attitude, a perseverance in reaching goals and high level of responsibility. You have a relevant academic degree for the job and are fluent in English. Practical experience from working in a flow oriented- or lean system is qualifying.
