Fluid Dynamics Engineer

Assignment description
We are looking for an expert in Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer Specialist who will participate in development projects. The client's development projects are complex and run together with their customers, industrial partners, and/or universities. The primary objective is to increase knowledge in food processing and investigate new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Being the expert in fluid dynamics and heat transfer and sharing the knowledge with the project teams when investigating flow patterns in tanks, pipes and other process equipment
Design, Conduct and Analyse experiments and simulations to understand the distribution of liquids (Newtonian as well as non-newtonian)
Take part in scaling process equipment from lab to pilot to industrial scale and problem-solving
Support and advice in questions related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer

Requirements:
Deep knowledge Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer
Engineering background
Stakeholder Management

Education:
Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Physical Engineering with focus on Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer



It's a one-year consultant contract, April 1 2022 - March 31 2023
Remote work: Most of the work will be performed remote, but visits to the site in Lund will occur.
The consultant is expected to bring their computer.
