As part of the Tetra Pak key competence "Food Packaging Safety and Interaction" we are looking for a: Food Chemist / Chemist / Chemical Engineer as Expert on safety of food contact materials m/f


Your responsibilities:

- Packaging material safety and regulatory compliance assessment
- Establish and evaluate data base for preparation and updating of "Certificates of Compliance" for our customers worldwide
- Active representation in international associations (Europe) with regard to development and monitoring of regulatory requirements for food contact materials
- Internal compliance projects
- Maintaining and developing worldwide "Food Contact Network"


Your education and experience:

Analytical or Polymer Chemist, Food Chemist, Chemical Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in
- Carrying out and providing scientific risk assessment and advice with regard to regulatory safety requirements of food contact materials
- Participation in advisory committees
- Analytical skills to deal with complex information and capacity to summarise it
- Presentation of scientific issues / communication skills / teaching
- Working in an multidisciplinary team

Language:
Excellent English (company language).
