Tetra Recart is the first retortable carton package designed for products traditionally filled in cans or glass jars. We are in a strong growth phase and want to transform the food industry. The Food Development Centre Tetra Recart (FDC) is now looking for a person to focus on improvement and best utilization of our service portfolio to grow the Tetra Recart global business. FDC role is to support in customer contacts with food expertise, solutions, and ideas in all steps of the sales journey, from first marketing activities, during the sales process as well as during installation and expanding customer capabilities with new, innovative products when in production. To do this we need to have knowledge about the full production chain for retorted, shelf stable products and we need to master not only food product trends and development, but also how to support customers when expanding into new products or facing issues.
Your main responsibility would be to further develop and promote best utilization of these competences and services in all types of customer interactions across markets in collaboration with the rest of the Tetra Recart team in a very dynamic environment.
The position will be based in Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
What you will do
As FDC Food Development Manager you will:
Actively participate in developing and deploying FDC service offers to the market to support and be an integrated part in the sales process including e.g. customer meetings and product trials.
Drive development of new FDC offers e.g. testing options, trainings and workshops.
Secure best utilization and development of team competence.
Internal and external marketing of our FDC offers and knowledge in an appropriate way for the global market organisation.
We believe you have
We believe that the successful candidate has a university background within relevant area but most important, you are a communicative leader with a natural ability to create a good working environment, have a strong business mindset and the customer in focus. You have the ability to plan, structure and prioritize the work and facilitate teams and you have excellent networking and stakeholder management skills.
You have at least 5 years’ experience on a senior level in the area of food industry, understanding of marketing and sales, a proven record in leading people and we believe that you have a great interest in and a passion for food and customer.
