The Food Development Centre Tetra Recart is now looking to temporary replace one of our Food Development & Technology Specialists to secure keeping up the work to improve the quality of our customer products packed in our Tetra Recart packages. Our role is to understand the full production chain for retorted, shelf stable food and support our sales organisation with food expertise to support sales growth. The position offers the possibility to work innovative and result oriented in close cooperation with our customers and with a wide internal network.
This position is located in Lund but you will work in global arena, and meet with customers and colleagues all over the world which will normally include about 10-20% travelling.
What you will do
Support our customers and sales organisation with food knowledge and expertise by executing product development, investigations, and trials in our test facility and at customer plants
Develop technical competence regarding key food categories through the full production chain
Secure key food category competence documentation and transfer to identified internal key stakeholders

We believe you have
A university degree within Food Technology or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience from product development within the food processing industry. Experience from canning industry, project management as well as culinary skills from prepared food are all meriting and we believe that you have a great interest in and a passion for food!
We are looking for a strong communicator and team player who enjoy sharing knowledge and new ideas. You also have excellent interpersonal skills with focus on collaboration. To analyse and come up with the right solutions is one of your biggest strengths and motivators and you enjoy the mix of deep analytical work with running practical hands-on food trials. You have great knowledge in food as well as in production and the ability to combine the two to find the best customer solutions.
Your English is fluent, both verbal and in writing.
