Food product developer

Apranik Sweden AB is looking for a food product developer within the Jamaican / Caribbean kitchen.
We are looking to create and develop Jamaican spices, seasonings, sauces and baking products for a franchise in the restaurant industry. We are seeking a full-time key product developer for our company. This new hire will work in a kitchen located in central Stockholm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Involvement in product and process development to support internal product development programs and platforms.
Understand, lead, interact and manage projects within food development.
Maintain state-of-the-art depth and breadth of knowledge in the areas including seasoning product development and flavor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in product development, ingredient research and/or flavor research is preferred.
Passion for food and cooking is required.
In-depth knowledge of the Jamaican food industry and trends.
Must have a deep and clear understanding of Jamaican Cuisine styles, history, tradition, & culture.
LANGUAGE
Being fluent in English and a second language would be an asset, preferably Swedish.
The position is a full-time and permanent position with start as soon possible.
