Food Safety & Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Food Safety & Compliance Specialist to review and approve suppliers documents related to applicable Food Safety legislation and specifically materials and parts in food contact.

Your daily tasks include:
Support internally and externally with advice on Materials and parts in Food contactDefine, order, review and follow up migration testing of Materials and parts in Food contact Develop Model Formulations and maintain the data, Test them in a Lab and pilot scaleReport and Document findings and results with stakeholdersDevelop ways to process, preserve and package food safelyModify and improve existing recipes

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Supplier management Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food
- Regulation (EU) 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, as applicable to the plastic parts of such kits and/or components
- Regulation (EC) 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food
- Product ownership

Preferrd skills:
- FDA 21 CFR with the respective sub-paragraph
- Compliance to following Chinese National Food Safety Standards
- General safety requirements for food contact materials and articles (GB 4806.1-2016)
- Food contact plastic materials and articles (GB 4806.7-2016)
- Standard for use of additives in food contact materials and articles (GB 9685-2016)

We are looking for you who have/are:
- At least 2 years of work experience in the classified area
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- High IT maturity and experienced user of Office 365
