Food Safety Specialist

Job description



We are searching for a Food Safety Specialist who is openminded, humble, well-organized, structured and driven by the quality of the delivered.



In this role you will work with suppliers as well as other external and internal stakeholders.



With your food safety competence, you will contribute to the development and qualification of new products, materials and suppliers.



Your daily tasks include:


Work with suppliers as well as other external and internal stakeholders to secure food safety compliance documentation (certificates etc.).

Certificate collection, evaluation and identification of potential gaps towards EU, US and CN food contact legislations.

Use and populate the new certificate handling tool.

Drive food safety continual improvement through Base Material ISO 22000 management system.

Build and share knowledge within food safety globally within the company.





Basic qualifications

Required Skills:


Chemical engineer or similar educational background.

You are highly dedicated person with analytical skills and a high drive.

You can work independently as well as in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

To communicate on all levels in the organization is natural for you and you are comfortable making presentations.

You have an interest to follow international developments within your area of expertise and an ability to extract, share and explain relevant information to colleagues.

Having experience from the packaging, food or medical industry it is considered a merit.

Fluent both in written and spoken English. Swedish language skills is considered a merit
