Food Scientist

Are you a Food Scientist fishing for the dream job? We got a catch for you! Hooked is an impact startup developing plant-based seafood to lead the transition to a healthier seafood ecosystem. We are now looking for a Food Scientist who will be a part of leading the development of the next generation of our products.
The Role
As a Food Scientist you will be a key member of Hooked's product development team by leading specific technical areas, e.g. sensory analysis and shelf-life extension, as well as leading full R&D projects, from concept to finished lab-scale products. Further, you will challenge the status quo and constantly improve our processes to be more efficient and increase the speed to market.
You will also have access to leading research equipment and experts within the field. The position is based in Gothenburg and will require some traveling when the circumstances allow.
Who you are
To be a good fit for the position, you have worked with plant-based proteins and industry processes. You have a holistic perspective of product development and production - including formulating recipes, setting up production lines, communicating with stakeholders as well as having both the consumer and financial perspective in mind.
Ideally, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and have been a part of a startup to scale-up journey before.
