Food & Sensory Consultancy
Masters’s degree in engineering or food technology. Food, Gastronomy, Nutrition, Biochemical or nutrition science degree from university.
-Important to have strong interest in Food & Food Processing
You are pro-actively, be accurate and enjoy taking responsibility
- Ability to collaborate using a flexible and positive attitude focusing on finding solutions
- You are curious in learning more about how to process different kinds of food
- You are comfortable in discussing food processing from a practical stand point, if coming from other industry a curiosity to learn food processing
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
Skills Requirements
o Prior Food Product development experience would be an asset
o Practical work experience from the food industry or other biochemical industry.
o Knowledge on the field of Sensory Analysis and basic skills already developed
o Knwoldge and understanding of Food Safety and HACCP is a must
o Have previously participated on Design Thinking and Co-innovation journeys
Skills & Qualification

o Development of Reports, Communications and Presentations regarding the ALab products and services
o Assistance & Preparations for Customer Sessions (Travels may apply)
o Develop Model Formulations and maintain the Database. Test them in a Lab and pilot scale
o Report and Document findings and results with Sensory panels
o Organise logistics of ingredients
o Support maintenance of SOPs for Analytical Testing, Sensory, HACCP and GMP for Food Prototyping Activities to be carried out in the ALab.
o Maintenance of ALab SOP – Maintain relevance to current processes and learning experienced in the ALab
o Support Sensory Analysis Sessions
o Laboratory Care
o Inventory Management of consumables.
