We are seeking for a Food Selling Leader, to Ingka, IKEA Food within Market Support, who is result driven and motivated by reaching targets and working agile. We believe that you have a strong collaborative mind-set and know how to communicate, interact, facilitate and build trustful relationships. You demonstrate IKEA leadership skills and have the ability to navigate and lead in a fast-changing environment. The analytical skills of yours are well-developed and you have the ability to apply and emerge industry trends.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have been working within sales and commercial for a minimum of 5 years and have proven record of successful business development and performance. You have qualifications within both sales, marketing and business management and could have had previous roles as Sales Manager, Store manager, Sales Leader (R&S), Commercial Manager or equivalent within IKEA. To succeed as a Food Selling Leader, you also have experience working with commercial, sales, sales & supply planning, pricing, and having experience from retail. You know how to identify and realise commercial opportunities. You know how to activate sales and how to use the commercial calendar with relevant activities. For this role, previous experience and knowledge within the IKEA business is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience from leading and facilitate commercial reviews as well.
YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES
As a Food Selling Leader, you will support the markets to drive sales and food commerciality across all customer meeting places via steering, optimization, pricing, and services to enable extraordinary growth in the food business. You will act as a business expert/partner to provide Food operations expertise to the markets and other stakeholders. You will lead the facilitation of a seamless food customer experience, maximize conversion to enable extraordinary growth.
More in detail you will:
· Lead optimization of food sales, gross margin and profit and support markets to drive sales, gross margin and profit
· Provide ways of working, tools and guidance for sales steering, planning and activation
· Analyse sales performance, KPI’s and act on deviations
· Collaborate with Range & Supply and markets to develop, plan and execute the sales and supply planning process, and act on deviations and secure the development of the pricing process and tools
· Lead the food commercial review planning, coordination, reporting and development of reviewers and analyse commercial review results, identify global business opportunities and share good examples
· Contribute as business expert in digital product and solution development enabling food selling and customer experience
· Work across functions within INGKA Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
The role is located in Malmö (Hubhult) and you will report to the Food Commercial Manager.
