Job description
Grab the opportunity to take on the role of Food Services Innovation Manager at Flint Group – Paper & Board Europe. You will have the chance to take ownership of a robust portfolio and build an innovation plan with the clear aim of being market leaders in this industry segment.

This is the role for someone who wants a mix of exploring and analysing market opportunities, driving the innovation agenda and contributing to the physical product development activity.

Responsibilities
Within this new exciting role, you will be part of the European Paper & Board product Innovation team, responsible for the area of Food services.  You will have the opportunity to drive the development of new solutions, with a key focus on sustainable technology for our European customer base.

You will be part of a warm and dynamic team, based in the Global Innovation Centre in Malmö, where there is a strong team spirit and focus on collaboration, and you will have the opportunity to connect with our global innovation network when contributing to international key account projects.  

We expect you to have a good understanding of the packaging market, for you to enjoy benchmarking products and geographical areas, and you are capable of analysing product gaps to initiate and execute innovation projects. 

Some of your assignments will be:

• Align with key account team to create key account product strategy for Food service segment

• Collaborate with new product development manager and European sales regions to evaluate current, mid-term and long-term product requirement

• Lead development projects and communicate project status for associated product groups

• Support technical key account managers within customer reviews and technical projects

• Develop approved backup solutions for all core products

• Support creation of product launch, product selection and product training material

Qualifications
To thrive and deliver well in this role, we believe that you bring the following experience:

• Experience in the field of Food services and/or Aseptic packaging

• An education in chemistry or chemical engineering

• Experience in Project Management within the innovation department of a company

• Excellent skills in English, both in wring and in speech

• A willingness to travel

Additionally we would appreciate knowledge and experience in product formulation, sustainable solutions and some form of management experience would be considered an advantage.
