Food Technologist

JBT is an international market leading company in the food processing industry. We have offices in more than 100 countries all over the world and we have customers like Gunnar Dafgård AB, Fazer Oy and Danish Crown AmbA. As we continue to grow, we are now hiring new people to join our Food Tech Center team.

Job Summary

• You will work as an Food Technologist with a main focus on our DSI portioning solutions within our Food Technology team based in Helsingborg
• Perform tests with customer food products. These tests are performed at our Food Technology Center in Sweden but also at customer facilities
• You will participate at start-up and optimization of equipment on customers site
• Advise on the most optimal processing solutions from our portfolio of equipment
• Train our sales team and other people within the organization on food processing technology involving our product offering
• Support R&D activities with food processing knowledge that are critical for the functioning of the equipment


Qualifications/Skills Required

Our focus is finding the right person, to further develop yourself and the company. As a person, you are a driven and a flexible team player. You take responsibility for everything you do at work and you enjoy challenging yourself. Also you have good communicative skills.

You have:

• As DSI has an advanced computer system, good skills in automated process systems is an advantage
• The ability to participate in a direct and practical way (hands-on)
• Good knowledge in both written and spoken English
• Education in food science and experience from the food process industry is a merit
• Able to travel within Europe, approximately 40-60 days per year. Other areas of travel are occasionally necessary
