Footwear business developer

We are looking for a Footwear business developer to support further growth and expansion. You will work closely with the co-founders and become part of the core team of FindSourcing. Together with the CEO you will manage suppliers and buyers all over the globe to create successful partnerships bringing new products to life.

The person we are looking for appreciates both a hands on and management approaches but lean a bit more towards management. You are eager to learn and don´t fear trial and error when taking own initiatives. You have a strong interest for how digital solutions can lead the way for the future and are motivated by seeing your suggestions getting implemented. If you want to be part of creating the next gen sourcing and production environment within footwear and fashion - this job is for you!

Responsibilities
- Communication, feedback and follow up with suppliers globally
- Creating reports for price, leadtime, quality on quotation requests and inform stakeholders
- Screen quotation requests from brands to identify best cause of action.
- Together with the co-founders and designer give input on the FS platform development: on functionality and user experience.
- Identify new collaboration partners, organizations, brands and manufacturers.
- Mentor and act as a role model for team members in areas such as communication, prioritization and quality of work.
- Assist the CEO on projects and ad hoc assignments


Qualifications
- Strong interest for fashion, trends and footwear
- A background working with/studying production supply chains in the fashion industry
- Embrace change in a fast-paced environment with the ability to use initiative.
- Be able to multi-task with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Comfortable working with MS Excel and Powerpoint


Nice-to-haves

- 1-2 years working in a buying organization within the fashion industry
- A Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Supply Chain management
- Advanced level of MS Excel (VBA knowledge)

Start date: ASAP
Work extent: Full time, permanent position with a six months probationary period
Location: Central Gothenburg, flexible on-site/remote (1-2 days/week on-site expected)
