Forest worker / planter - planting trees in Sweden

Working in Sweden - Håxås Skogstjänst AB is looking for team leaders (m/f/d) and forest workers (m/f/d) to plant trees by hand - seasonal work with piecework wages from May to September 2021


Håxås Skogstjänst AB is run by former planters. Our service includes tree planting by hand and motor-manual brush cutting in the southern half of Norrland in Sweden. For the 2021 season, we want to send 12 planter teams and 3 brushcutter teams, each with 4-5 members, into the race for the most profitable season.


Planting with the planting tube and working with the brush cutter are very physically demanding, even under the best of conditions. We are looking for employees who do not shy away from physical exertion and who can gain a lot from self-determined work in the open air and in the beautiful wilderness of the Norrland.


What can you expect as a forest worker:
planting the (different sized) seedlings (payment according to number of pieces)
quality assurance of your own work
transport of the plants to the place of work
loading and unloading the trailer
organization of plant storage
plant care in the plant stores
maintenance of the work material



As a team leader, you will also take on the following tasks:
team leading
planning of work assignments
quality assurance and reporting
communication with the regional manager
administration of the team
report of the individual planting performance (wage basis)
organize and guide preparation and follow-up tasks



You have to bring this with you:
a strong will to motivate yourself and your team members
the best possible physical and mental constitution
enjoyment of physically strenuous work in the fresh air and in the open air
striving to optimize your work steps
driving license class B / BE (not absolutely necessary)
language skills: sufficient or higher knowledge of and / or German / English / Polish / Romanian / Swedish

Team leader: SEK 46.000
Forest workers: SEK 34.800
