As a Scientist working in the pre-clinical development phase within ADD you will support drug projects from a formulation perspective, from the technical evaluation of formulation alternatives to support in vivo studies. You will contribute to developing and selecting formulations to ensure preclinical exposure in projects spanning target selection to candidate nomination.
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in supporting formulation development of biomolecules (i.e., peptides, oligonucleotides, RNA) and small molecules, preferably in the preclinical drug development phase. You have significant knowledge of physical chemistry, biopharmaceutics and drug delivery to enable a mechanistic understanding of in vivo drug product performance. The role will be expected to work cross-functionally supporting drug projects in the discovery phase and in collaboration with other formulators, analysts, chemists and biologists at AstraZeneca in Sweden, UK and US.
