Application
Apply for the position at Stockholm University's recruitment system. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the application is complete in accordance with the instructions in the job advertisement, and that it is submitted before the deadline.

An application should consist of:

• Cover letter describing among other things:
- Reasons for wishing to become a Research Assistent
- Brief description of any research experience
• CV (please list your GPA from completed degrees)
• An academic writing example (e.g. bachelor’s or master’s thesis or term paper)
• Brief coding sample in Stata
- If you do not have one you would like to share, make a new one based on the “auto.dta” dataset. It can be opened by typing the command “sysuse auto”. Create a figure that nonparametrically shows the relationship between “price” and “mpg” for different groups of cars (foreign vs. domestic). We want to see a plot similar to that produced by the command “binscatter”, but created by regressing “price” on deciles of “mpg” for different values of “foreign” and then extracting the coefficients and plotting those. Make sure the figure is nicely formatted (see for example the formatting in some of the papers on any of the professors’ websites). Make sure that the code produces everything (no manual graph edits).
• Contact information for at least one and up to three academic or professional references.

The instructions for applicants are available at: How to apply for a position.

You are welcome to apply!
