FPGA Engineer

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a master's degree in electronics or computer science and experience from FPGA and RTL design.Knowledge of verification work in SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL and of script languages i.e.Tcl, Perl or Python is desired as is experience from working in LINUX.As a person we believe you are an analytical and innovative team player with the ability to see challenges instead of problems.It is crucial for us that you thrive in an environment with close collaboration and a high degree of responsibility.You are pedagogical and service-minded, ready to share your knowledge with the rest of the organization. OUR CHIP PLATFORM TEAM You will be working in the Chip Platforms team within R&D who is designing digital ASIC:s and FPGA:s for our network video surveillance products.The ASIC:s we design are 5-10 Mgates where the majority is in-house design.We also use commercially available IP:s.The Technologies we are currently designing for are below 90nm.Our design and verification methodology is based on SystemVerilog and VMM.We also design complex FPGA:s for validation and verification purpose and smaller FPGA:s for product specific functions.JOB DESCRIPTION In order to support more and more advanced product requirements and TTM the use of FPGA is increasing in our products.FPGA boards are also developed for new functionality validation and for SW development.Your job will be to design complex FPGA:s for both validation/verification purpose and for products.You will be considered an expert in the field and will: ¤ Be part of the knowledge center of FPGA ¤ Create FPGA design methodology within the company ¤ Evaluate methodologies and tools ¤ Support other designers with FPGA knowledge WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU You will work with state of the art tools and methodology in a highly skilled and experienced design team with the goal to always try to improve.The environment in Axis is open and supportive and you will have a great chance for development in an organization that values creativity and promotes individual growth.We welcome your application and look forward to the possibility of you joining us!
