The Transmission and Axle development department within Volvo CE is located in Eskilstuna. The development of world class transmissions and axles for Volvo CE machines is carried out in dedicated cross-functional teams and the manufacturing is done in our own plant in Eskilstuna.
Our components are installed in Volvo CE premium equipment like Wheel Loaders, Articulated Haulers and Excavators. This applies not only to conventional machines but also our upcoming range of electromobility machines. We believe in a diverse and creative workplace that brings out the best in everyone. Who Are You?
You are a mechanical design engineer with relevant university degree who has good experience in both mechanical design but also in planning and driving work within a design engineering team. You like working in cross functional global teams to get the work done.
You have a positive attitude and is eager to develop yourself and the way we work in order to stay competitive and to meet customer expectations. You are good at speaking and writing English and can either speak or are willing to learn Swedish. Experience from driveline development is an advantage.
