DSV Independent

Independent is responsible for developing DSV's operations in Norrland. With a focus on providing
world-class service to our customers in the north of Sweden, the team of five people is planning and
managing the traffic going out from the region.

In order to continue to grow in the area the team in Umeå is looking for a new colleague who will
primarily plan the traffic to Denmark.

As a Freight Forwarder you will mainly work with the following tasks:

• Planning and routing of cars
• Develop and increase traffic
• Follow-up of results
• Book ferries, loading and unloading times
• Notification
• Contact with our customers, hauliers, drivers and our offices around the Nordic region

Who are you?

In order to thrive and succeed in the role we believe that you already have transport knowledge. We
believe that you either worked for a few years in a similar position or that you studied Transport and
Logistics at a college in combination with experience from extra jobs and internships from similar
businesses.

We also believe that you are mindful of the economic aspects of the business. You are
administratively skilled and have a structured way of working. Since the role involves many
unforeseen events and requires that you often need to re-prioritize, we believe that you easily shift
the focus between different tasks. Most important is that you feel great commitment and show a
willingness to learn. Good knowledge of English and Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
