Freight Manager Tarkett

Tarkett is one of Europe s largest manufacturer of flooring with appr 8.000 employees and operations in more than 100 countries.Tarkett with its more than 100 years of experience in the production of floorings focuses on resilient flooring (plastic-floorings, linoleum), hardwood floorings (prefinished parquet).Business Center ?Tarkett Wood Europe?has appr 600 employees, our products are produced in Sweden and Poland and are delivered to customers all over the world.Based in Broby (South of Sweden), we are now looking for a Freight Manager You will report to the Supply Chain Manager Wood Europe.Work description You make sure we have the best transport set-up in all countries we deliver (price + quality) You are in charge of the freight cost control tool and reporting You are in charge to organise tenders and benchmarking in Europe You are in charge of all the negotiations and contact with the forwarders Experience Experience from similar work, with international exposure Experience in transport area Education You have a High School degree with 5 to 10 years experience in similar positions or a University Degree with an experience of 2 to 5 years in a similar position.Personal skills You have strong negotiations skills You are cost optimisation oriented You are able to work on your own You have high analytical skills You are fluent in Swedish, English + another language if possible
