As a Front-End Developer in Power BI, you will play a crucial role within the Data & Analytics team. Your contributions will help democratize data within IKEA by designing and co-creating reporting packages that turn complex, large data sets into valuable visual insights. You will be instrumental in driving informed decision-making and enabling business movements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Develop: Create, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts to transform data into insightful analysis, presenting it through comprehensive reports to support decision-making.
Visualization: Develop impactful measures and connected visualizations, documenting data with detailed algorithms, parameters, models, and relationship explanations.
Performance Culture: Serve as an ambassador for a performance-oriented culture, enhancing business understanding within your unit.
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts in continuous improvement, driving collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies and best practices across the IKEA Data and Analytics Community.

You have a few years of working experience in data analysis, where you have derived conclusions and provided insights that have helped your organization make better decisions. Your data storytelling skills are excellent—you can see the big picture while also paying attention to details, and you can structure information effectively.
Qualifications
Power BI Expertise: Skills in creating data-rich dashboards, implementing Row-level Security (RLS), writing DAX expressions, and developing custom BI products with scripting and programming languages such as R and Python.
End-User Insight: Ability to empathize with end-users, understand their daily work life, challenge and identify business needs, and see what's hidden in the requirements.
Continuous Learning: A dedication to continuous improvement, with a strong motivation to learn and adopt new technologies.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Azure services and knowledge in SQL. Familiarity with data models, evaluating the performance of reports, and collaborating with team members to find the best solutions.
User Experience: Apt in presenting business information in a simple, clear way to maximize user experience based on established design frameworks.
Security and Data Quality: A strong understanding of Identity and Access Management practices, with proven experience in Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Literacy.
Organizational Literacy: Good knowledge of IT and digital organizations, strategies, and working methods.
Fluent Communication: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.



Experience with Power BI, Databricks, and data science workflows/frameworks is advantageous.
