Spotify is looking for 2 strong technical leaders, who can join our autonomous teams and contribute to all aspects of development.
You will be joining a team of talented developers that are holding a shared interest in distributed backend systems, their scalability and continued development. We work together in autonomous teams that take full responsibility for our own part of the Spotify ecosystem. That includes writing code with high standards, hosting our services in Google Cloud Platform with Kubernetes, monitoring our services, measuring quality and guaranteeing service reliability.

Requirements:
We are looking for a senior full stack engineer with experience working in a larger company and reasoning around complex systems. They are comfortable mapping features into managed services and can deliver on both backend and frontend tasks.
Experience with Python web applications and Javascript frontend frameworks is a must.
Experience with Java is a plus.
Excellence in Asyncio, React (Hooks), Typescript and Mobx is music to our ears.
With excellent collaboration skills, you can work well with a team, in a hands on way, and put the success of the team first. Daily communication is key, with a humble and positive attitude, open to new ideas and suggestions, and not afraid to bring their experience and expertise into every decision we make together.
Responsibilities:
You will together with the other engineers in the team, implement new and improve existing micro service integrations into the customer administration tool made for the Spotify Customer Support. We are also planning to platformarize our tool.
You will work together with many other parts of Spotify RnD to understand APIs and negotiate API contracts. There will be both a backend and a frontend part of most tasks. You care about improving the overall architecture and health of the systems and drive things to completion.
As a senior engineer we see you playing a big part in the team in technical decisions and improvements and initiating and driving work and ways of working together with the team. We also see you sharing your knowledge and experience with less senior engineers.
