Front-end developer for Sustainable Transport Diagnostic Solutions

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is transforming from a heavy vehicle factory to a software-driven company. The product we deliver is smart connected robots interacting with infrastructure and society reducing environmental impact. On this journey, we need more developers to help us continue to deliver world-class transport solutions.

Digitalization, automation, connectivity and electrification are crucial parts of the transformation; our future success relies on flexible and effective IT solutions that enable current and future business requirements. This journey is not possible without passion and purpose-driven team members, together we share knowledge and find new solutions.

We are continuing to build on our great team spirit and believe that you can contribute to that while also reaching new levels of skill and expertise.

Who we are
Part of the tribe Connected Diagnostics and Software Update is a unit that consists of 10 people working in two teams. One team makes sure engineers, mechanics or customers can communicate with the vehicle’s onboard communication network. The other team enables the electric control units onboard to have the correct diagnostic support to secure that goods reach their destinations on time.

It is the latter team that needs to be reinforced with a new member. This team is responsible for digitalizing and automating the diagnostic information data flow. That means creating a data-driven web GUI to enable different parameters and ECU information that customers use for diagnostic investigations down streams. This same data can also be used for monitoring the vehicle’s state of wellbeing and adding customer value in uptime or better functionality.
