Job Description
Industrial Business Unit is responsible for marketing and sales of industrial engines and aftermarket business globally. As a Front Office Area Manager within the Order to Customer Team you will be responsible for the order handling for some of our markets.
In this role you will work closely with Sales, Customers, Global Supply Chain and Business Support to ensure successful order handling, from the order has been received until it is delivered to the customer. You will also have contact with other Front Office colleagues around the world, both when supporting them with best practice and as a key player in improving our ways of working. You will report to the Director Order to Customer in Gothenburg.
The ideal candidate has an education in Logistics or Supply Chain and a few years work experience within these areas.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving orders from customers, order handling, -confirmation, -monitoring
Perform changes and secure order quality before the order lines are released to production
Handle changes before delivery
Price adjustments and invoicing
Handle documents needed for the orders and shipments
Interaction with customers in the above areas
Contribute to development and improvements in our way of working, either through continuous improvements or by representing front office in relevant improvement projects
Contribute to the spreading of best practice among our front office colleagues
Qualifications
University degree or similar
Good communication skills (both written and oral)
Proactive and creative with own drive
Analytical and structured; Quality minded
Clear customer focus and responsiveness
Business knowledge and customer understanding
Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office programs
Experienced in JDE E1 (not mandatory but a plus)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
